ISSUE: May/June 2009Innovative Treats
Celebrating Canada’s leading manufacturers and suppliers within the fields of design and architecture, the Innovation Awards recognise outstanding achievements in new product design. Amongst this year’s show offerings, 53 products were singled out for awards.
“To be a leader in business today, innovation is key,” says Linda Makins, President of the IDC Board. “Careful consideration clearly went into the design and creation of each of this year’s award-winning products – they are truly forward-thinking. This gives these products a competitive edge in the marketplace.”
The Innovation Awards are run by the Interior Designers of Canada and Merchandise Mart Properties (Canada) Inc, managers of IIDEX/NeoCon Canada. Results were announced on September 26, 2008.
